Presley's Baby Blessing

This weekend we had the amazing opportunity to go to Boise and meet baby Presley! She is the cutest baby in the entire world :] The first day we got there, Jordan and I were a little nervous about having a newborn... Presley was not feeling well and was having a hard time settling down. This was a big eye opener for us that somedays are better than others with babies. Luckily the next day was amazing and Presley was a little angel the whole day!

Being able to hold this sweet baby girl made us both even more excited for our little man to get here! On sunday the families gathered to celebrate the birth and blessing of Presley. We went to church and enjoyed an amazing blessing from her grandpa Jeff :] After church we came back to the Miles house and had a little lunch. Lots of Amy's friends and family were able to be there to make the event even more special :] Overall it was an amazing weekend and we can't wait to have our baby!!!!

Trip to Seattle!

So about a month ago, we took a trip to Seattle to get together with family for Jordan's uncle's funeral. It was a sad occasion to gather, but it was so good to be reunited with all of his family! We stayed for about a week and had a blast up there! The weather in Provo has been so hot lately, so it was nice to enjoy the Seattle weather in the 70's everyday! We had a big family party at his parents house on the 4th of July and enjoyed eating yummy treats and watching fireworks.

Later on that week, we drove to Pike Place Market and walked around down town Seattle with his family. I tried Ivar's for my first time and loved it! (So did the birds that came and stole our fries!) We walked around and saw lots of fun things, including the new ferris wheel. We ended up going home with lots of fresh fruit from the market that we enjoyed all week.
